    Bad attitude bulls

So maybe my Eye Candy problem goes back to my cows bloodlines. The cow herself, awesome! She was easy to break and easy to show. However, she has some Wyoming wind in her.  Give me time, she's bred back to Eye Candy again, so I guess we'll see. The others EC were just stubborn to break and show...

    Bad attitude bulls

What are some AI bulls that sire calves with bad attitudes?  I'm curious if others hAve had some of the same bad experiences as I have. Also, have you noticed a specific breed being more cranky than another. I will start the bad attitude bulls list off with a bull that I was excited to use and...

    Tranportation....info needed

What are avg costs? How is it figured? If I would decide to get a load together to head to Oklahoma, what all would I have to do?

    Bulls that add frame.

I got a silveras style straw today from a neighbor.  Seemed easier and cheaper than placing an order.  I thought about breeding her to a char bull.  The bull I have in my tank would add frame, but doubtful on depth.  Thank you all! Pray for some cooler weather so she settles!

    Bulls that add frame.

I would not consider her to have a ton of middle.  She has great spring of rib and excellent bone, however she lacks frame and her shoulders need set back.

    Bulls that add frame.

I'm really liking the idea of yellow jacket.  The cow is red. Her dam is white and genetics go back to Kris Black's herd. This could be a neat calf!

    Bulls that add frame.

Like many people with show cattle.....I  have a short, stubby monopoly cow.  I need a bull that will up her frame score.  She's registered Chimaine, so I would like a Maine bull.  Are there any out there that will add frame?

    One shot Lutalyse

She will successfully breed after one shot of Lutalyse if there is a CL present. If not, she will need the second shot 10-12 days after the first.

    Ampoules

I attempted some research last night.  Criss cross was an all american bull in the 1960s.  His dam and several of his daughters were also all american winners way back when. Criss cross sold for $20, 000 as a young calf.  When Gray View Farms dispersed their cattle due to their father's...

    Ampoules

Ok, so I have a rough idea of what some of the bulls are.  The majority of them did not have cane codes on top of the canes, unfortunately.  I could read the names on most of the amps real quick. Grayview Farms SkyCross Grayview Farms CrissCross (XX) Grayview Farms SkyLine Grayview Farms...

    Ampoules

I honestly haven't even checked them.  I will check them out and see what I can find.

    Ampoules

Is there anyone out there who still uses ampoules?  Dairymen? When I bought my tank, the guy told me there was some Holstein ampoules in it.  I had no idea he meant....75% FULL of the darn things!  He said estimated cost of everything in it would be over $1700.  I hate to throw them away, but...

    question on breeding

I bred my Monopoly heifer to Breathe Easy.  She calved with no problems what so ever. The calf had a 70 lb BW, she has lots of bone, and has the hair of a woolly mammoth.

    Automatic milkers

There was an automatic set up at the farm show in Louisville last year.  Cost of that brand was $250,000 each.  The cows get fed when they go in to be milked.  It has an ID system so if the same cow comes in mutiple times, she will not get fed every time.  As much as I would love to have one...
