Need a little bigger rear- any advice?

Thanks all for the advice.  I have seen some products advertise to increase muscle when fed for 20 days prior to show, but they are expensive- just over $100.00.  Just didn't want to spend that much money unless someone had a good experience with it.  If I can find some winning fill we will...

Need a little bigger rear- any advice?

Good one VC-  I  like that.  I'm afraid the calf doesn't have enough fat to supplement with showmaxx.  We are a slick show, so cant really do alot with the hair to benefit us.  Savage- what does winning fill/ full tank do? Thanks all for taking the time to respond.

Need a little bigger rear- any advice?

Our county fair will be in 3 1/2 weeks- My daughters steer is a nice looking steer but I think he needs a little more rear.  He is eating and gaining well.  I know there are alot of supplements that you can feed in the last 3-4 weeks, but are any of them able to really help?  They seem pretty...

    calf keeps falling down

I really don't think it's a trust issue- the calf doesn't have an ounce of meanness in him-  he's not scared of us at all, and enjoys being scratched/rubbed on.  It doesn't matter if you pull foward or sideways, maybe he's just stupid.  I will try the water thing and see how that goes.  Thanks...

    calf keeps falling down

Need some advice.  We are breaking a calf and everytime you go to pull on the halter he falls over on his side and just lays there.  What's the best way to handle this?

    holding a steer

We have a steer that we will show in 13 days- he weighs 1440.  What is the best way to hold a steer and keep him looking fresh.  He is eating 15lbs/day along with hay.  In our county show you don't do well if you weigh in over 1400.
