I have 2 cows- they are at seperate locations. 1-angus w/ calf  found the calf dead this afternoon. I have no idea what happened. It showed no signs of being sick had been vacinatted etc. it was about  3 months old. Just went to his pen and he was laid over...nothing. I have a shorthorn cow...

When that happened to us, we gave him probios , wormed him again and gave him only hay for 2 days. That combo worked for us. Im sure some of the more experienced will chime in and be able to help. How long has he been off feed and anything else that would show signs that he maybe getting sick ?
