was wondering if anyone else had bred this mating.  just got a bull calf.  75 lb., hairy.  thickness is not quite what I expected, but was wondering if that will come in a month, or so.  Anyone else?

I have a New Edition 6108 X Dixie Erica heifer that I am close to breeding.  Any thoughts on what would be the best bull for her to get the best 1st live calf out of her?  I can tell you that she was high 80's at birth.  Currently thinking of Connelly Final Product, Northern Improvement, or C&C...

I have an unstoppable cow-sure that she is a carrier, and a smiling bob X payback/meyer 734 heifer, reg. angus heifer.  Was thinking Insight for angus heifer and No worries for smiling bob heifer.  What do you think?  Unstoppable cow will be her 3 calf.  Haven't hit the right bull yet for her...

yeah, you are right.  I won't take the chance of having to lose one.  too expensive to do that.

I bought a clubby steer and heifer from a reputable, I trust him, breeder.  The steer was vaccinated 2 weeks before I got him.  I brought him home and within a couple of days he developed a snotty nose and runny eyes.  They both had diaharea, but he got over that.  She still has it...

Well, I actually have a full sib to New Edition Edgar, and I was curious to get everyone's thoughts about him.  Sometimes an owner can be partial to his own stock.  Here's what I can tell you: 1.  its hard to argue with the pic that is posted on here of Edgar, I would take a herd of him anyday...

IMO, I would run the cows through a second time.  that is what I do and seems to work fine.
