Hercules and Diamond Cutter Russ

Here’s an updated picture of Guardsman 8G. He is definitely getting a more mature look to him. His first calf crop is looking quite powerful. Hopefully he can see a show this fall. Russ

The bulk of the bulls we are using this year are home raised yearlings and 2 year olds produced through AI. The first bull is JT Gaurdsman 8G, a Stockman from a Titan 3T female who we used last year as well. He is a bugger to get pictures of when he is in breeding mode which is why the only one...

Thanks Idalee! They have been very good bulls for us. I don’t think I had ever looked at him on digital beef ASA before. He has a complete pedigree on Digital Beef CSA. Being one of very few 4508 progeny born in Canada I could see how something could be missed. Russ

JT Youngblood 112Y still a very sound bull with a good disposition and also JT President 5B a calving ease bull who has left some very productive females. Russ

We have had very good luck splitting amps. Our tech’s have always used a syringe and a pipette on ampules. If the semen isn’t rare we do use the whole amp for a cow though. Russ

Week old Yesterday bull calf, Dam Is a 4 yr old JT Titan cow. First white purebred on the farm In over 20 years.  Russ

I’m lucky that one of my tanks has a booklet zip tied to it that has its contents. The 40+ year old tank is a mystery every time a canister gets pulled up. It creates interesting “on the fly” changes in AI. Haha. Although I do like the booklet because it can be adjusted/updated as soon as...

I can speak of the herds which I know Personally that have animals consigned and they always bring very good animals to represent their herds with solid breeding programs. Russ
