Love it when they photograph calves in deep straw. This one is in straw up to his knees, I bet he's a bit leggy and doesnt look nearly as deep on hard ground.

Rice Lake Weighing Systems bought Norac Scales last year. I have Norac Scales and have never had a minute of trouble with them. Never have to be calibrated like a lot of the other scale systems. They are very accurate.

I have recycled rubber playground mulch over concrete in my cooler about 8" thick. It works great, comfortable for the calves and urine runs right thru to the drain and you just pick the manure. Go in every afternoon and rinse with a hose and its just like new again.
Could be a hairy wort between the toes. One of mine had one several years ago, hoof trimmer wrapped it with something and it took care of the problem in about a week..
I have a punchside Barrett in south florida, (punches on top half) havent found it to be too hot and it seems to pull better than the typical slat side aluminum trailer. I have two vents in the front (behind truck tailgate) and two roof vents, moves air great. Hope that helps.
