I get multiple bags at a time as well.  Have found that in our northern climate(northern ND) that keeping them in a rubbermaid garbage can.  Don't leave it in the paper sack since it seems like rodents really like that stuff.  Never had any spoil.  Thats how have kept all our Vitaferm products...

I fed it this year for the first time and really liked it. The heifers bred up quickly and shed the dead hair.  I plan on mixing it into the creep feed for the show calves.  I just fed them a scoop that comes with the bag at each feeding.  Doesn't take much to make a big difference.

I have had best luck with popping the wart and putting it in the feed.  Sounds odd but if you couple that with some wart treatment from wal mart has worked really well for me.  Start early.
