    I've heard how Highlanders are excellent foragers and therefore; easy keepers and feed efficient.  How true is this?  Have any studies been done?  What about buffalo?

    Got it: old Haumont shorthon semen

    Thanks to Steer Planet, I now own and posses 6 amps of semen from '68 Par Cherry '71.  This bull was intensely linebred on the old Frank Haumont genetics, mostly Par Defender.  I had given in that none of this semen existed.  Without the help of the Steer Planet forum, this would not have happened.

    Does anyone know the name of the 1973 National Western Stock Show champion shorthorn bull that was disputed  concerning age and purity?
