shorthorn bull: Cruachan Max Leader 551

A fellow shorthorn breeder, Dennis Hoffrogge, has a stoutly bred calf out of Cruachan Max Leader 551.  The bull has a nice photo and was a high gaining test bull.  I see his sire was a Thomas Leader bull.  Do any of you remember this bull?  I'm mostly interested in the offspring phenotype and what his dam was like, if anyone recalls.

 I never saw Cruachan Max Leader 551 but here is bull that was similarly bred from the Thomas herd. He was very deep and easy fleshing and left moderate framed daughters with good udders. I never saw the Thomas herd but Cecil Staples(founder of the original Diamond herd) told me it was one of the best herds he had seen and very uniform. He used two bulls from the Thomas herd.
