    Multimin 90 @ A.I.? Or @ start of synch

This was our first year using Multimin.  I talked to my vet a lot about this product before we used it, and he told me it was better to be 30 or more days out on the multimin then under 30. So we brought in a couple ai groups at a time and used gave them all a shot at the same time, to save time...

    Maternal Perfection question

I have had a few calves out of him, the last 2 year. I never got any females, but all the bull calves I got, were right in the mid 80's for BW.  I bred him to sim cross cows in hope of getting replacements.  The calves were all built the same, decent power and good style, some had good hair some...

Who is the BEST fronted "maternal bull" to make replacement females?

I have used both Mercedes Benz and Maternal Perfection, in my herd.  I have bred both to my big broody percentage sim cows, and hands down I like Benz better for over all quality. They are thick and more attractive made, and I feel the females are a lot better over all... Perfection has been hit...

    Breeding Simmy shows females

I had my first bandwagon calves this spring, and the heifers are some of the best I have ever had.

    JSAR Titan

The ones I have had are really good cattle.  They come small and grow good, they have a really nice look to them with a lot of power.  I have bred most of my heifers to him the last 4 breeding seasons, without any problems.  Disposition wise I haven't had any problems, they all seem real quite...

I bred 5 cows to the bull custom made this spring so in February and March I can tell you more.  I haven't used the other bull so I won't be any help there.

Maternal Perfection Calves and a Mature Photo

I just had my first one last Friday out of a PB sim cow.  Calf was 5 days late and weighed 88 pounds.  As of right now im really liking the calf, he has good hair, power and bone, with a nice profile.

    Unusual weather messing with heat?

I've been having the same problem here in kansas with my cows.  Been talking to a few neighbors that AI too and they are having the same problem. It's getting real frustrating I usually like to have my cows out on grass already.

    Best heat detection aids?

I was wondering what works best for everyone when it comes to heat detection? What gives you the most accurate reading and hold up the best over time and in wet weather?

    No Worries Bull

My biggest calf was 85 pounds, 6 days over due out of a big simmy cow that has some birth weight to her.  The lightest calf was 77, everything else was in between.  I used him on all second calvers or older, I've never been one to use clubby bulls on hfrs.

    No Worries Bull

I have a few on the ground out of sim and sim cross cows this year.  They were all bull calves, so I can't tell much on the type of females he makes.  The steer calves I have are all real nice calves super hairy with some chrome.  None of them are what you call a great one, but all of them are...

    Bulls to use on heifers

I have been using Mercedes Benz on my simmy and sim cross cows, and I love the females I get from this mating.  The steers can be hit and miss.

When using cidrs what is your breeding sequence?

("Sometimes facts speak louder than science.... our facts are we have noticed non responders given gnrh when timed aied and didn't take are the ones that calve a few cycles behind.") We have noticed the same thing on or cows that have been TAI.  The ones that don't stick always end up 3 to 4...

Maternal Profection, Two Tone, Grizzley Bear (Lautner's), and Banshee

Yes that's is the Grizzly Bear bull I was asking about.  Sorry I noticed I spelt his name wrong in the post. Thank you to everyone who has posted so far.  Maternal Profection and Grizzly Beat where the main two I was leaning towards before I made the post.  If anyone else has anymore to add on...

Maternal Profection, Two Tone, Grizzley Bear (Lautner's), and Banshee

I am thinking of using these bulls this year and was looking for some more calf reports on them since a few of them now have a couple of calf crops on the ground. I was wondering what kind of cows they work on, how they grow and birth weights.  The majority of my herd is sim and sim cross cows...
