Anyone ever used Style on first calf heifers? Thinking of using him on a Boomer/Whiskey heifer. Bw and calving ease? Thanks for any input.

Had 2 Rumor mill calves born this winter. 1 bull 1 heifer.Both were over 100 pounds. No calving problems with them they were made right. One was out of a wisdom daughter and the other out of a commercial cowboy cut granddaughter. Not sure I would breed him to heifers. Just my experience.

I had a cowboy cut son that I used for several years. He was out of an Angus cow. The bull I had was a tank. Cowboy cut is a paternal brother to Irish whiskey. Do not know anything on the other bull.

Anyone on steer planet had any hard whiskey or X calves yet. If so how have the birthweights been on them.

Had a cerveza calf born in DEC. stoutest calf ever born on my place. He was a monster c-section. Super good though, just make sure you have a nice size cow to breed him to.

Last auction price I remember was around 500. My best cow is a Irish Whiskey. I would like a whole herd of them. I did not see a bad whiskey daughter when I was at Griswold's sale. But maybe I am just sold on him to much.

They say he breeds like Irish whiskey. Have not seen lots of calves but ones I have seen looked real good. Going to breed him in a few weeks.
