This morning Express sold 1/3 semen interest only in EXAR Denver 2002B for $340,000 to the Denver Syndicate.  So does this make him more valuable than the 3/4 interest and possession for $600,000 in the Miles McKee bull that sold on Monday?

Grand was shown by Elizabeth Jones of Williamsburg, Iowa.Weighed 1327 and won Class 6 and was Champion Division II. Reserve was shown by Sarah Ayer of Calhoun, KY.  Weighed 1294 and won class 4 and Divison I.  Steer was sold by Goretska and was sired by Jerry's Donnie

1,309 lb. grand champion steer brought $13,982 . The reserve grand champion steer, a 1,274 lb. crossbred shown by Cody Hrabe  sold for $7,823. A total of 114 steers was exhibited at KJLS

The Angus Journal website has teh sale results posted.  It is amazing that 54 bulls are listed and they all sold for 10K or more.  15 heifers sold for 10K or more and they listed 3 cows that sold at that price or higher.
