Calving ease bull for Walk This Way heifer

Shes an April 2014 Walk This Way x Bushs Flashback x Maine heifer. She's not a huge heifer.  This will be the first calf I've ever had. I was think Rumor Mill or Capiche or Captain Obvious. I want a calf that's small and I'm not going to have to worry about to much about calving but that will be...

    Opinions?

I like No Worries but I don't like the front ends I've seen out of I-80  and is Starburst calving ease?

    Opinions?

Who would you recommend for a Simmi bull that would work? I've seem a lot of them I've liked but I don't know who is heifer safe.

    Opinions?

I would like some suggestions on other shorthorn bulls to use for her. I would like use a purebred shorthorn on both of you heifers eventually.

    Opinions?

I'm very open to going with a purebred for her. I just want the resulting calf to be worth taking to a show. Her calf and the calf from another heifer I have will most likely be in my last year of 4h show string. If I-80 clicks I like the calves I've seen but I've seen a lot of plain ugly ones...

    Opinions?

I know it's early but I'm trying to get ideas so I have it set early on and have a plan. I've considered Jesse James and Jakes Proud Jazz mostly and Rumor Mill as well. And she is currently on full feed trying to get her weight up. But she's also not going to be a huge cow when she's fully...

    Opinions?

This is an April 29th crossbred heifer. She's out of a herd bull that's registered Maine or Maintainer and a Capiche first calf heifer. She weighed 518 on Friday pretty empty. I'm looking for any opinions and thoughts on who to breed to this summer.

Revolution vs. Guts and Glory (Kalmbach Feed)

I'm relatively new to cattle but I used Kalmbach feeds for 2 years.  I didn't like 1/3 1/3 1/3 I felt it didn't give my cattle enough grow. They just didn't grow very well on it. Guts and Glory I really liked the results I achieved with it. I believe I used Revolution on my steer and it really...

Okay thank you. She's on free choice hay.

    Depth Supplements

I have an early April heifer. She has decent depth and gut but she was on the loose for 3 weeks. I've managed to get weight back on her but she lost a lot of the depth that she had. I was wondering if there are any supplements that would help with her gut but not affect her weight gain. She's...

    Depth Supplements

Thanks for all the replies and the comment on her. I didn't think she had bad depth but it was brought up by both judges. I might start with beet pulp for cost efficiency right now and if it doesn't work closer to fair I will put her on depth charge.

Thanks guys. I think she has adequate gut for now but I am just trying to help her get more for the show season. She gets about a flake of hay a day and I will look into the depth charge. Here is a picture of her from the show the 14th.

    Depth Supplements

I have an April Walks Alone heifer that weighs right around 700. I like everything about her except for her gut. She has some but when I showed her that was one of the problems that came up. She is on full feed of Purina Beef Developer and Kalmbach Guts and Glory feed. It is helping some but I...

New Walks Alone Heifer *Updated Pictures Added*

Thanks but do you have any specific suggestions. I can sort of read epds but I am still new to this and do not know all of the things necessary when looking into a bull for a heifer. But I am trying my best to learn and not ruin this heifer.

    Steers

I know of some good red angus in the Chorpus Christi area. They have some great bloodlines with some major show wins in there. They have calves born all year and might have some available.

New Walks Alone Heifer *Updated Pictures Added*

Thanks for fixing the picture and all of the bull suggestions so far. I like Young Money but maybe not for a first calf. But I wouldnt mind getting a calf colored like that  ;) Captain Obvious looks cool too. This might be a tougher decision than I had originally thought.

Thank you but I am not sure of her PHA and TH status so I worry about that breeding. But I do like the looks of his calves so possibly if she turns out clean.

New Walks Alone Heifer *Updated Pictures Added*

This is my new April Walks Alone x Habanero/Herf/Hide-N-Watch show heifer. I plan to breed her in May or June to JSF Capiche or another cool colored calving ease bull. This picture is just after blowing her out after not being touched for like a month. She has really long great hair. Opinions...

    Updated Pictures of the Steer

Tallcool thanks for the advise. He is a little hot headed when I lead him so I want to get him on melatonin to slightly take the edge off of him for a couple days prior to the show. He was tied like that so I could clip on him. I usually don't tie his head so high and that loose. I think he will...
