    upcoming feed costs

My opinion...not worth a bunch. Corn is at top.  Feed lags a month behind so expect high for feed in 30-35 days.  Could be completely wrong! Ohio has seen some rain here in the last 2 weeks and has greened up, didn't help corn but beans and grass really improved.  I think once the initial...

What has happened to common sense and parenting? N/C

It is all part of nature's way of natural selection of weeding the weak from the herd - kind of like riding a motorcycle without a helmet - one less Obama voter in the making - idiots - Only problem is they stay alive or live longer!

    Feeding baled cornstalks.

We have used them alot the last 5-6 years.  I have placed them into brushy/weedy ares let the cows rumage through and eat what they want.  The rest makes a mulch that the following year will not let that brush or weeds come back.  We can then overseed with a pasture mix, plus there is alot of...

Yeah most of them have bangs tags(metal clip on top of ear).  I haven't taken them through a chute yet to see any ear tatoos.  I will soon.

    Brand identification

i bought these pairs through a broker in Ohio no brand papers needed.  I am not very familiar with brands.  Only know that western cattle always have them.  Some of these cows are real nice.  Some have 1 brand others have 3.  All that are branded have 1 brand in common.  i do not know what state...

    Brand identification

I have recently bought 35 cows, just commercial type Angus.  They all or most have two or three brands on them.  I have looked for ID all over the internet but can't find any.  I'm just curious as to the origins and bloodlines.  One looks like a Lazy or rocking S.  the other could be a Hanging T?

    Honor Show Chow Full Control

Yes it will.  Keep in mind to feed by weight not volume.  Another product you could add to existing feed is Precon/Recieving Chow.  This will add guts and rib.  New product called Depth Charge works well also.

Cattle water made from large old tires

We did a spring development using an old combine tire.  Used a sawzall to cut out sidewall on one side of tire, Leaving the tread and about 3 inches of sidewall for strength.  Mixed quickcrete in whellbarrel, used almost 8 bags, and placed in bottom of tire, let dry and cure for 3-4 days.  Then...
