I just wanted to see what you guys thought of some of my calves from this year!  We had 54 Hereford calves this spring but I only got a couple of pics.  Here they are!

I've found a couple more pics.  Some of my cows and calves and one of our herd bulls.
1. Our Donor Dam who is also a Dam of Distinction(the highest honor a cow can have in the Hereford breed).  She is out of WTK 55Y Bond 75A
2. Two Year Old Cow that produced a super heifer calf.  She is out of our Donor Dam and RWD Horizon.
3. Heavy Muscled Steer Calf out of AA Kodiac
4. Super Bull Prospect out of our Donor Dam and RWD Horizon.
5. Super correct Heifer calf out of a CS Boomer 29F cow and AA Kodiac.

1. Exciting Two Year Old Cow out of a Feltons 5F Bull.  She was the Champion Polled Hereford Heifer at the county fair in 2007.
2. This is her heifer calf out of a CS Boomer 29F bull that we own.  She has the same structure and power that her mama displays.
3. Heres another pic of our best steer prospect.  I just love hows he made.
4. Heres a 5 year old cow that I showed back in 2003.  She really has had some bad luck with calving and only has produced two and we only kept one.  She is out of the Donor Dam.
5.  Here is one of our Herd Sires, AA Kodiac.  We bought him from Able Acres in Wingate, IN when he was a yearling.  We have loved the long bodied stout and correct calves that he has produced.

i like your steer in the last group.

have you been selecting/purchasing for eye pigment?

here's a hereford thread on another site i thought was pretty impressive about eye set on herefords.

Thanks for the comments.  Well we haven't been searching exclusively for pigment.  The funny thing is it just kind of a coincidence that all our bulls have pigment.  I really like the look with pigment around the eyes.
