Well I like to go early in the morning before the show and feed, wash, and blow them out and spray some zoom bloom or kleen sheen on them. Then I let them lay down and rest for a couple of hours. Then I get them up, blow them off, and fit them. Idk if this what you're asking for...

I also don't give them water the night before the show, and wait till right before I bring them into the ring and give them as much as they'll drink. I've heard someone say that before they fit them, they shove a handful of salt in their mouth so they will drink a lot and they will look full and deep bodied as possible.
