If all else fails, Show Cattle Calm works well. I've used it before with a steer that was almost like a puppy until you untied his halter and tried to lead him. He shot away from us like a rocket every time...drug my husband around the barn lot for days. He was any angel with the Show Cattle Calm. Sullivan's sells it. I've also gotten it at the local Farm and Home store. Good luck and stay safe!

Go to Walmart and buy some melatonin and start feeding them to him. Start with 10 and bill him up till it takes the edge off.

Keep working with him and have an adult around.  Play music to simulate being around large crowd.  If he was tame before, he can be tame again.
