I have been doing research for the past few months on what bulls i would like to try for next year. I am looking for bulls that are Prebred Maine Anjou or high percentage Maine Anjou, that will produce great show calves on big framed cows needing more show ring style but still be easy calving bulls. Please help me out if you could thanks so much.

. I like Tiny tim and peewee for purebreds. For high percentage maines dirty hairy 1 or 2 and I-80. All of these are pretty much calving ease. Dont forget about Witchdoctor either.

I would not got with many of the Ali sons. I have seen almost all of them and not impressed.  I like the dirty hairy calves and Whichdoctor calves and most whichdoctor sons have always been good and produce good mothers. The best proven Ali son that I know of is Smokin Joe he actually has EPDs to back him. Mercedes Benz is young but throwing some good calves, I think he might be worth a try. Your not that far from Hawkeye right? Get you a list of what people like then go check out the bulls. Then make the trip to nichols in Ankeny the same day and do the same thing. You will be able to see many bulls that have great yearling pics and don't turn out so well. Then you will see some bulls that you maybe never heard much about and find out that they are better looking bulls than some of the top promoted bulls. You just cant trust the pictures and everyone has a different view on a bull.
