Here's a couple of pics of this year's Angus yearling that I'm taking to some jackpots.  First one is form last fall at weaning.  Other pic is form last weekend. I haven't clipped her yet but I sure think she looks good!

I really like her! What is the breeding on her? I like how long bodied she is but she doesnt seen to give up any middle. I also really like how long necked she is. If I wanted to get really picky i guess i would maybe clean up her neck a little bit, but like I said that would be getting pretty picky. Its almost hard to believe from the two pictures that that is the same heifer!

Thanks HiddenCreek.  I pegged her as my best heifer last fall when my others were kicking her butt in the show ring.  I guess I can have the last laugh now. Structurally she's pretty hard to fault. I agree about her neck, but she's so easy fleshing that I'll forgive it.  She hasn't seen an ounce of grain since March!  Pedigree wise, she's an outcross to most of the cattle in North america these days.  Length comes from her mother, depth and muscle from the father.  Bred the mother the same way again this year. I've got the heifer bred (30 days) to SAV Bismarck.

I was wondering if she was one of your Patron daughters. I was trying to think back to the thread where you had pictures of a few different heifers but couldn't remember. Nothing wrong with those easy feeding calves either! I would rather have an easy feeder than one that you really have to push the grain to! And I like what you have her bred to. I actually bred my show heifer the same way!

One more pic.  This one was last summer (June I think) when I picked her out.

Recent pic before we head into fall shows.  I think she looks more balanced and better in her front end as she matures.  Thoughts?

I definitely like her more as she matures. Has a really big bodied sound look to her.

Snapped a pic on pasture last night.  She's really starting to come along now.  Looks like she'll calve early Feb to the Bismarck A.I.

Well she didn't bring home any banners but she was competitive and sure got noticed.  It's not often a heifer that is a complete outcross to every other animal in the show can be competitive.  There's a solid chance she was the widest angus yearling at Agribition.

She's bred for early feb so I'm hoping to have a pic of her and her calf to share in a couple of months.

This is a very nice heifer. Really love how she came together, and love what looks to be early signs of a beautiful udder and looks like shes good footed.

Thanks Mill Iron.  Her udder looks to be coming in nicely but her true claim to fame may be her feet/hoof quality.  The argentinian cattle have excellent feet and a real hard/smooth hoof.  Hers look to be outstanding thus far.

My girl "Patty" had her calf a couple weeks ago and I finally got around to snapping a couple of pictures.  I'm really happy with this heifer.  My only regret is that I don't have ten more like her.  She has plenty of milk and a good looking, happy and healthy bull calf by SAV Bismarck.  Wish it would have been a heifer calf but them's the breaks.

I liked this heifer so much I went and bought another Patron daughter from my parents.  N7's Annie K 53B.  She's a tank! Also she has as much or more hair than any angus heifer I've ever owned.

Added a recent pic of Annie K.  She slicked out real nice.  Went undefeated in her class at 6 shows!

Yup Soo Line had an Annie K that won the World Angus Forum in 2009.  The cow family originated from the Double AA herd in Alberta.  I bought her mother from the Mountain View Farms (MVF) dispersal in 2010.  Thanks. I sure think she's got a chance to be a great one.

Well she's 3 years old now and I don't have any complaints.  Sold her first bull for double what I paid for her and she's doing an awesome job on her calf this year.  He's sired by the bull in my avatar pic, NYK Graceland.  I love his masculinity for a Feb 25th calf.
