I bought a semen package when they first became available. Thinking I'd start small, I bred three good cows to him, not world beaters, just good PB Simmi cows. One was a Dew Time, one a Trademark, and one a Laredo. I sold one heifer for 7500 and I still have a heifer and a bull that are extemely high quality. Now I wish I would have used him alot more. I feel like he sure has his place, but everyone has jumped on the Milestone bandwagon. I was flipping through the SimMagic On Ice catalog and there are more Milestone embryos than anything else. Personally, I feel like he's as good of an outcross bull as we have seen in quite a while, and he can sire those eye-appealig females that can compete at the highest level, as he has already shown. However, I only plan on flushing one cow to him in the next few months because there will be so many this time next year...I guess time will tell. I think he works best on good necked, easy fleshing, soft middled, moderate framed, sound structured females that lack muscle and/or bone. As far as the milk EPD, it's pretty ugly. He does have great growth numbers though. I have not bought the first straw of Uprade, and imo you will like your Milestone's more than your Upgrade's, especially your females.
