April 2010 Maine Bull Prospect - Texas

Attached is a picture of a bull prospect born April 24, 2010.  Sired by our herd bull called Lightning (by Buck's Medicine Man) on a Godfather daughter.  Lightning originated in the DeJong herd and sired the Reserve ABC Steer in Houston 2009 (PDF picture also attached).  The calf is located in Hempstead, Texas, about one hour Northwest of Houston.  Will guarantee fertility and pay for testing for PHA/TH, the bull is also registerable as a MaineTainer.  He is a little green, but these cattle typically explode on feed.  In this picture, the calf had been weaned and on feed for about two weeks.  He is priced at $1,500.00.  Fall born steers and heifers, both exotic and americans, will available soon out of this herd by Solid Gold, Red Rock, Lightning and Purebred Brangus bulls.
