Incredibly, the green and the blue spirals are the same color.

Knabe...You never cease to amaze me. Seriously, I'm surprised you are interested in color theory. The Amish of America, brought over some remarkable information about color theory from their native homeland. Colors also work in porportions to "play off" one another as well as reacting against each other. The Amish quilts are great examples of their knowledge dealing with color. Will try and find some examples.
