Bred Heifer Market In Iowa

I'm looking to sell our show heifer from last year. She definitely has enough power to make someone a great cow for many years. I was just wandering what the market is like for breds right now. What are they bringing? I'm sure it depends on how good she is, but whats a good average price range?

2,500-3,500. It always seems like bred heifers sell good.They are sometimes easier to sell than heifers..On another note, with the way feed prices are now, it sure would be a good time to buy..but probably not the best time to sell.

All depends on finding the right person that wants your bred.  You take her to any sale barn in Iowa, and you wont bring anwhere near that price.

that is right... but the breds at MCF or GVC will certainly be 2000 plus...
