Bred Hiefer

This is my son's favorite bred hiefer.  She is a Throwback bred to I-80.  Due mid September.

Those throwbacks are sure nice! I think they have to be the nicest of all the shorthorns on here. I wish he didn't throw so much color.

We have bred Throwback to over 200 cows.  A lot of them were Angus Gelbvieh cross heifers.  Out of black cows all of the calves have been black, out of solid red cows most of the calves have been solid red with just a little white on the udders or flank. But on cows with some color it is like a box of chocolate you just never know.
