If you don't mind a greater possibility of a white calf (than from a roan), Roanoke Flashback is another choice.  Captain Obvious would not sire a white one, I don't expect (Ask Sue).  Do your homework on genetic defects (new defect called DS) before using one of the easy calving bulls or his sons.

I would breed her to I80... id say he would work well on her. He will help clean her neck up. he is a good calving ease sire and he throws good calves.

I apologize--you asked for our experience.  I will soon have Captain O. in my tank as well as Homedale Blizzard.  Personally I look for high accuracy CED, and am paying less attention to BW by itself (sometimes they do not go together).  True "sleep at night" calving ease along with getting a show calf could be a tall order regardless of the breed of bull you use AI.  The expression "having a calf" reflects real life--some need assistance no matter what.
