Calf losing hair around hooves and dew claws

I have a two month old bull calf. He has great hair, but I noticed yesterday that he was losing his hair right around his hooves and dew claws. It is on all four feet. He is not standing in mud, nor is he rubbing like he has lice. Any experience with this? He is a very nice calf. I'd like to do something to stop this ASAP. Thanks in advance.

Try using a root fluffier from Sullivan's I have had great luck with it on growing leg hair
