Was wanting advice on what brand of calf puller everyone used. Pros and cons would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!!

I would say stone puller that pulls on leg at a time, but whatever you buy go to midwest cattle consultants site and watch pulling video done by Dr. Mark Hilton

I think that today's concensous would be the Stone puller, but I have a Dr. Frank's puller and I have pulled hundreds of calves with it. I've had it for 35 years and other than a couple of trips to the blacksmith shop to use the press to straighten it back out it has been a great tool.

I agree with CAB - our Dr Franks has served us well but if I had to buy a new one, it would be a Stone.

I have just a bar and hip fitter deal with a come along on it. Not sure if its branded. One thing bad to happen is to have the thing jam or twist up cable or whatever at 3 in morning. Doesn't hort to take a practice deal so as not to learn with a bellowing heifer and a couple kids watching.
