Alright my brother has a heck of a steer this year and has done a great job feeding him. However I'm the show lover who will do a lot of work on this calf when college is over.  The problem is he has some wave to his hair and in my experience it takes a good amount of time to get it out and there won't be much time from when I get home to the first show.

I've heard and read that Downy and alchohol/absobine might work and I've also been told to use Afro Straightener. Which of these is best or is there something better? He will be rinsed and blown 2x daily and kept in a dark block barn with fans on him and I use Olive Oil, Healthy Hair, and vinegar daily.

Thank you very much

There is a product that works wonders. It is called Cholesteral. It is white and comes in a large tub at any beauty supply place. Its messy but works wonders on wirey and curly hair. Take some of the cholesteral and put in spray bottle. Fill with warm water to dissovle it. Now you should have a spray. Rinse and spray calf all over brush forward with rice root brush. It will soft the hair shaft and relax the hair. Blow the hair out. You need to wash the calf with soap once a week after applying it every other day. Watch careful it can make the hair too soft and will flatten it out. I hated mixing it but it worked great on a Kadabara calf we had once with that curly ethnic type hair.
