For those of you that use barn cams, how many use ip wireless cams that you can get feed on the enternet?  I'm not very computer literate when it comes to this stuff. I currently use a cheap wireless cam I purchased at Kmart for 89$. Works fine if the weather is clear and I get the antennas near the window of the house and the camera antenna above the steel siding of the barn. The other obstacle I have is that it messes up my wireless enternet connection. Hoping to go another route. Would be nice to be able to check even when your not at home. Thanks for any responses.

I use wired and wireless Ip cameras.  I sold/repaired computers for 15 years so I like to tinker.  Wired are cheaper and more dependable.  I have done ok with cheap ones if you are in the barn.  I bought a closeout d-link 920.  At $39 I call it disposeable.
