what does he do best on cows or heifers does he add bone or power??
I just think that overall the JJ calves do not lack the power that most calves out of heifer bulls do, they also usually have good hair and are correct. Also from what I have heard they come small even out of the clubby heifers, member on here by name of "Zach" had great luck with him on his clubby heifers. I am not sure I would use him on cows just because there are better options (eye candy, mono money, bodacious, bojo, etc....) but I would use him on pretty much any heifer clubby or PB.Carlson Cattle said:Muddy Creek Show Cattle: Are the jjs really that good whats best about them?? what best does he work on what kinna cow or heifer??
In my opinion he is better because he is safer. I80 may have slightly better calves but I have heard of some train wrecks out of him. Now this may just be because I80 was used way more than JJ so far, but as of now from what I have heard he (JJ) is more true calving ease.Carlson Cattle said:Ok thank you is he better than i80?? If

If you are breeding your heifers for added bone, power, or substance-- you have your priorities in the wrong order.
Exactly, just breed for a live calf. Worry about the bone and stuff later on. I believe JJ is the closest you can get to "bone and power" and be safe with a healthy calf.outspoken said:Carlson Cattle said:o, ok so if i bred one of my heifers that has no bone but he is long should i get a pritty good calf??
