Can anyone tell me how to dye shavings

I'm sure everyone has seen the display bulls and there bedding dyed in denver.  I am an project leader and was thinking about doing this for our stalls at county fair, can anyone tell me how they go about dying the shavings?

OK does anyone know how they dye shavings without 14,000 various colors of magic markers and lots of friends

We have used a electric cement mixer to dye them, not a fast or easy process. They need to be spread out to dry for a while after they are dyed. RCR
