I am sure that our daughter will never forget her 11th birthday, which was on this past Sunday the 18th, which was the same day as the 2010 National junior show in Vermillion AB.
It started out very good with her getting heifer calf champion.
Next was her yearling heifer which she won our big regional 4-H show with 10 days ago. She was class winner and then junior champion, and went on to be Grand Champion female! (clapping) (clapping)
Were we excited and proud? <party> <party> <party>
Then she was in junior showmanship (ages 9 to 15). The judge went along and touched and pushed on the animals and her heifer is so good for her she didnt move at all. Guess all her time playing with her payed off as she was placed first.
Unfortunately the photographer was TERRIBLE!!! I went to get her banner for her to get a pic with the heifer calf and when I was back they were on to the Reserve pic. I couldn't believe the angle of the pics when I saw them a couple hours later.
Good thing Kim had the camera going for a bit so here are a few candids she took.
We are very proud of you Sadie!
