I am needing a new set of small clippers my andis 2 Speeds have finally burnt up, has any one used the new andis clippers?
Do they use the same blades as the andis?inthebarnagain said:I used to groom dogs and the toughest (and quietest) clippers I have ever used are Laube. They cost more but they are WORTH EVERY PENNY. My husband, who grew up blocking with sheepheads that weigh 50 pounds will go steal mine, despite the bright idea that I would get hot pink ones so he would leave them alone. The smallest pair weigh 6 ounces (Andis are 14 to 16 ounces) and have a top speed of over 10,000 strokes per minute. The Andis top speed is 3400 spm. To me there are no comparisons. If you really have money burning a hole in your pocket, they have cordless that will run for about 2 hours on a charge. They are great when at a show so there are no cords to trip over.
