Crimson Tide on heifers?

I read in Lautner's catalog that Crimson Tide sometimes throws small calves. Has anyone tried him on heifers? I am sure it is not worth the risk, but I thought I'd ask.  Thanks!

I used him on five heifers that will calf in August so we will see.

I used him on a third calf cow. Quiet of bit of bone. The heifer had some leg troubles. I shipped her. she was thick and solid red but I couldn't get over her legs. They were super straight. Minimal experience but he wasn't calving ease for us. The momma was Direct Hit x Simmi.
