I just received this e-mail and thought it was along the lines of SD's post about spreading the wealth.

Subject: democrat?



"I was talking to a friend of mine's little girl the other day. I asked her what she wanted to be when she grew up and she replied, "I want to be President!"

Both of her parents are liberal Democrats and were standing there. So then I asked her, "If you were President what would be the first thing you would do?" She replied, "I'd give houses to all the homeless people."

"Wow - what a worthy goal." I told her, "You don't have to wait until you're President to do that. You can come over to my house and mow, pull weeds, and sweep my yard, and I'll pay you $50. Then I'll take you over to the grocery store where this homeless guy hangs out, and you can give him the $50 to use toward a new house."

Since she is only 6, she thought that over for a few seconds. While her Mom glared at me, she looked me straight in the eye and asked, "Why doesn't the homeless guy come over and do the work, and you can just pay him the $50?" And I said, "Welcome to the Republican Party."

Her folks still aren't talking to me.

first, tax on >250,000, then 200, the 150, then tax 401.  where's the investment money gonna go after the gov invests in green BS?  gold?  the gov will confiscate that too just like in earlier times.

some of this is conspiracy stuff, but the bottom line is that if the gov wants to tax you, people will hide their revenue with barter, under the table etc, just like with drugs.  happened in the soviet union, china, any communist country.  then, you will get tattletales, people keeping track of who asks joke questions like are you a socialist etc.  then the people will revolt.  denying there is a circle is just stupid or ignorant.  people will start being suspicious of their neighbors, paid to fink on them etc.  don't understand the piety.  jefferson vs stevens.  gonna get worse.  after all, it's ethics and pelosi has NONE.

my next door neighbor told me to take down my "i love socialism, obama 08" sign.  my wife shockingly said no, mostly on the grounds that the husband was throwing rocks at our dog who was sitting on the deck with my wife.  he didn't see my wife.  boy did she let him have it.  said a few words i haven't ever heard her say.  a couple of years ago, he nailed the dog in the eye, damaging the eye and it got infected.  to show you that fate has a strange way of equalizing, he put his english saddle he usually cinches loose on his thorougbred as they have withers, well, he put it on him henny (opposite mule) loosely, the saddle rolled and he fell off and broke his collar bone.  it was the second time he rolled the saddle off.

Sounds like a real winner!  That's good old karma right there!  If somebody would do anything to my dog I'm pretty sure somebody stronger than me to hold her back!  That makes me mad just thinking about it!
