i'd say real just because it was supposesedly taken by a national geographic photographer, that being said it wouldnt be america if somebody didnt lie to the public

If you look at one side of his neck you will see a piece of white looks like maybe they forgot to crop that part of the picture?Iit makes you wonder i am not saying it is just something to look at

I think its real. My biology teacher in college said that he has seen one, actually talked about it not to long ago

I noticed the neck part, too. Is that his head or his friends head? Technology sometimes makes me sad b/c we are becoming so cynical about what is real and fake. Sorry- been a long week <rock>
