Considering switching to a bagged feed and was wondering what was the best brand to buy, have a Purina and Umbarger dealer close by.... What is better?
      Thanks  (thumbsup)

They all make high end feeds that are substitutes. Find a 3rd party review/analysis online. You'll see just how much you're paying for that slick shiny bag.

Anyone who doesn't have a Beef Nutritionist to consult  is better off buying a major brand packaged Show Feed.

We have a Purina dealer within a mile of hour house and Umbargers is made within 15 miles of home. We feed Umbarger and love it. One, they have a product for phase of the show cattle process from starter to finisher and everything between. Two, its so close to home that we never have to worry about how fresh the feed is . And finally its so close its cheaper than Purina because I can go pick it up right where its made instead of a dealer who has to buy it, ship it, and then mark it up and sell it.
