We have a market heifer and a market steer. The steer is approx 850 and heifer is about 775. The heifer is a little short and has a shorter cannon bone which I understand is somewhat in the genetics but she is a beautiful heifer and the steer has plenty of bone but needs to start filling in behind the front shoulders. We are big believers in silage and also feed grain with a good amount of corn. Is this the route to go? Suggestions please.
