How much beet pulp do you add to there feeding and do you mix some water with the pulp before adding it to there feed?

We have replaced as much as 1/2 the ration with beet pulp. Our steers have always loved it dry. My understanding is it will expand wet so they may not eat as much as they would dry. I would think max "guts" would be achieved fed dry and then let it expand in the stomach.

We have this mix available in our area we use it to add body but will use it when we need to hold one as well.

Calves really like it as well.

Rowenutrition.com actually has a product called guts. It can be used as a full feed or mixed with your regular show feed. It will bring down the energy to keep them from getting too fat but also ad guts. Very well priced compared to similar products.
