I have 2 steers that Im am currently feeding
16 lbs of Corn
16 lbs of Distiller Grain Pellets
4 lbs of Oats Per Calf per day
I was wondering what a good substitute for corn would be because corn prices are so high?

That seems really high on DDGS. What else do you have available?

There are several different rations on here especially in the last week or so. It might be a starting point but also work with your local feed mill andcheck with what ingredients are available at an affordable cost in your area.

VitaFerm's Feed Barometer might help you out. It breaks the country into feed regions and then let's you know which feedstuffs are a good buy or overpriced based on their nutritional value.

Also, I agree that working with your feed store or forming a good relationship with a nutritionist can save you a lot of money, while still making sure your animals are getting what they need.
