Free half interest in F1 Angus X Wagyu cross bred steer to at least moderately expierenced 4H kid from New England.  Must be shown and sold @ Eastern States beef show and sale next year.  Will be competetive in the ring but guaranteed to win the carcass contest. 2 steers to choose from. Sired by Bar R Ichiro 32R. Angus Mothers are on site.  One steer born on 03/02/10 and the other steer born 06/23/10.

assuming said contest is based soley on quality grade and not yield or weight

We have processed progeny from this bull used on other Angus cows before, has been very impressive. Hung in the same cooler at the same slaughter house, next to some of  last years Big E sale steers. Keep in mind its a cross bred not straight Wagyu. Yield will easily be 60% and Rib eye area is expected to be larger than most of the other steers.

These are pics of the older calf born on 3/2  I dont have any other pics of the younger right now but i think thats the hind end of the younger calf you see in the edge of the pic.

The older calf is out of a Heifer I bought from Crista (Bruce's boss) and the younger calf is out of a commercial cow.

Definately no club calf but could make somebody some $$ by winning the carcass contest and im thinking the breeding should bring some $$ from the buyers. Im really interested in seeing the full potential of one of these steers when pushed on a show ration. Just on good forage these steers will make prime.
