In the case of heifers that we would like returned to us at the end of their showing career, we generally ask for a small deposit up front to insure that there is an incentive for the heifers to come back to us in good shape. If we approve of their condition when we get the heifer back, your deposit will be returned. This gives you an opportunity to show a heifer FOR FREE and have a guaranteed place to send it when you are done.
We have a heifer available that this applies to. She is a Star 5 (Which means she is half Santa Gertrudis). Some majors offer Star 5 as a breed division (such as Texas State Fair) whereas others she could be shown as an ABC or AOB heifer. She is located in Central Texas.
