Get a good belly on a heifer on show day

We have a pretty good heifer with nice rib shape. But on show day she can eat and drink a bunch but she doesn't fill to her potential. She doesn't eat the night before. Then the day of she gets 1/4 of her normal feed and as much natural full and beet pulp as she can eat. And she doesn't drink until right before we show. Is there something else I can give her?

What I do is feed them normally both night before and morning of especially if you're showing later in the day. Give them a bucket to feed. Then hay them, all day I will put half scoops of beet pulp, feed, anything until they quit eating thst certain feedstuff, then I'll change. I've had great luck with this method.
