i always watch these sales as these guys have different pedigrees.  there are some wide track genetics for sale, including a direct son.  i purchases some wide track semen recently.  hopefully his carcass are as good as his numbers

I agree. Fall calvers were not much above sale barn prices. Some reasonable bulls too!

By the time you take into consideration all of the costs associated with a sale, Dennis would have been dollars ahead to take the fall calving cows to the sale barn. Very soft sale IMO. Great set of cattle. PPL that had an old bull standing at home should have traded up yesterday!!

On the other hand if the people that bought them turn into a new repeat customer, it might be worth it.

Only good record keeping will tell the story.

I watched the sale and was kinda shocked how reasonable the cattle sold for. I'm kicking myself for not buying some.

I really like some of the Nagel bulls selling tomorrow. Lot 1 is a real looker, IMO. Didn't look at all the videos but the few I saw really looked super.
