Hard breathing

I have a heifer that has been breathing hard lately and she is constantly looking for shade. Anyone know what she might have? Thanks.

Don't know, but get a vet on this immediately or you could have a stone cold dead one.

Is she still doing it today? Ours were pretty warm on friday and Saturday since it was in the upper 70s and they have tons of hair.

Yes, she is still breathing hard and it was very cold here today so heat didn't play a factor.

Get ahold of a vet definently sounds respiratory. This weather has been so weird this fall it opens them up to so many things. There are things I would try but it has been enough days now i would atleast talk to a vet to get the quickest treatment for him.
