Head ties vs. Pannels?

What is better to tie up heads at shows? Pannels or breeders head ties (from Sullivan supply). What are advantages of each? Disadvantages?

Personally I don't like panels bc on bigger calves you can't crank their head up like you want to. Idk what the shows you go to have but a 2x4 with a hole at top works really well as long as you have some kind of feed alley wall or panel to tie it to.

I set 2 corner post and then cut cedar lay downs and nail them up between the 2 corner post. ours also doubles as a alley way to load cows with as the 6 lays downs are all the way to the top so if you have a young or taller heifer or steer you can still make it all work. i will try to get a picture and post it for you to see if it will help you any. sometimes i cant explain it just like it is.
