Hi all have a cracking Angus heifer that I am breacking in currently, she is being a bit hard to get on with. Swings around to look at you when working around her, I recon its a trust thing any tips on helping her trust or just to teach her not to swing around when I'm brushing her?!

Put her in a grooming shoot and tie her head up and close. This will get her used to holding her head up and standing still while you work all around her.

just let her look at you. no reason to force her not to.

if she starts to test you to take off, just be prepared to hold and force her in a circle around you by moving slightly towards her rear end and holding firmly, the lead.  no need to tug and pull, just hold.  she will find the release. when she does, pet her.  repeat over and over. make sure people are on her right side after a little practice.  it will help her use her other eye and not be bothered by you being on one side and something else on the other side.
