For my agriculture class we are in the cattle unit and I am having a hard time finding top 12 cuts of meat along with pricer per pound!!! If you know or havea good website I could look up I'd greatly appreciate it!  THANKS

I have a spreadsheet for lamb retail cuts, that figures price per pound-- and pricer ratio to overall cost of carcass.. I'm going to guess and say it will be mostly the same- but in beef lingo...

do you want top 12 primal cuts, or top 12 retail cuts? 

NY Strip, Fillet, RibEye, Porterhouse, Tbone, Prime Rib, are the top 6...

Sirloin Steaks- 9.99
Round Steak- 4.99
Chuck Steak-  4.99
Skirt steak- 4.99
Chuck Roast- 4.99
Brisket- 3.99
Beef short ribs -  4.99
Shank crosscuts- 2.99
Neck bones- 2.29


Check the insert in your Sunday paper for local food store prices.

Attached is the link for beef cuts from today's market.  It shows both choice and select, the range and weighted average.  This is published each week day. 

For future reference most meat and livestock prices are reported on the following page daily.  There is a lot of data collected every day to ensure fair pricing through the marketplace.
