Due to the unforeseen health condition of our current herdsman, we are looking to fill the now vacant position. We currently run 70 head of Maine, Simmental, and clubby cows. We need someone that can do it all! The primary focus is the show cattle operation including feeding, breaking, fitting, and marketing. We run a very intensive ET program and AI the remaining cows that are not ETed. Job may include some general farm maintenance and haying as well. Owner is very busy with other businesses and absent 75% of time, but not silent. Need someone accountable, self-motivated, and passionate about the show cattle industry. Housing could be offered to the right person. The farm is located in Metamora, Michigan, one hour north of Detroit and one hour east of Lansing.
