We just bought a herd of commercial Hereford cattle they came with a saler bull looking to change that cows are 2 to 8 mostly younger 1/2 moderate framed 1/2 large framed looking for opinions should I use simmy or angus what is everyone's thoughts

Angus. With a Simmi a dilutor gene could appear and give you some off color calves possibly.

I agree.  Go with Angus and get some good black baldy cows.  Then put some simmi on their babies.  Some of the new simmi bulls on my black baldy (angus / Hereford) cows are making some crazy good calves.
